For Nirvasha, her goals are measured through her passion, self-fulfillment and personal experiences. Born in an Asian family, Nirvasha was strongly influenced by Indian, British and American films from all generations and discipline. When Nirvasha was spotted by Ramesh Grover, she flew to Delhi and it was here that she was exposed to the Indian film industry. To uplift her acting skills, Nirvasha has completed a professional course in acting. She is also well qualified with three degrees in the arts. She completed the Master of Arts in the UK. Her eclectic education and early life lessons in South Africa inspired her creative side to perform. She has performed in 'Come December' and 'Main Osama'. She modelled for renowned artist, Kenneth Hari, for an oil painting commissioned by Martin Solloway. Currently, she acts part-time in suitable roles, as well as being one of the leading directors under the banner 'Nirvasha Productions Ltd.' She wrote, "My team recognises my artistic talent and encourages me creatively. I am very happy and feel the energy through acting and modelling. There is no formula to being an artist - it is just embedded in my heart and soul." Nirvasha attended the Cannes Film Festival from 13th to 18th May 2010. She did so in her capacity as an actress and as head of her own production company, Nirvasha Productions, which has a slate of films under discussion and ready to go into production. She has also been captured in oils by the great portrait artist, Mr Kenneth Hari. Please see 'Nirvasha by Kenneth Hari' for more details. |
