As well as Akemi's teaching at Ardingly College, she has a programme of Gashuku (residential study retreats) in various parts of the UK and lessons and in London, 3 minutes on foot from Woolwich Arsenal railway station.

Day One
Afternoon: Introductions and separating into classes after a quick level check
Warm-up game in Japanese
Supper together
Watching Anime movie of Miyazaki Hayao
Day Two
Morning: Japanese lesson
After lunch: Excursion to local place of interest
Late afternoon and after supper: Make the story of play in Japanese.
Practicing the words with the help of Japanese people.
Day Three
Morning : Japanese lesson
Afternoon: Excursion to local place of interest
Dinner, Japanese food eaten together, during which Japanese people teach table manners
Day Four
Morning: Japanese lesson
Afternoon: Visiting local market for shopping and lunch
Late afternoon: Practicing the words with the help of Japanese people.
After the competition of the play from each group in Japanese, we have a party. Japanese people will bring Japanese snacks and sweet for this party.
Day Five
After the breakfast we say farewell.
